All timber including decking and carcassing is pressure treated softwood.

What other woods can you source?

We can source Balau, Massaranduba, Ipe, oak, Cedar,and Iroko.

How do you stop plant life growing beneath the decking structure?

In most cases w would use a horticultural membrane which blocks sunlight but allows moisture through.

Do I need to treat my deck to maintain it?

All wood is pre-impregnated with preservatives. It is also our policy to treat all cut ends with a clear preservative

Will the decking become green and slippery?
This may occur in shady and damp conditions. A mild detergent and a stiff brush solution easily cures this
Will you need planning permission for decking structures?

It is not usually necessary for planning permission; however in a small number of cases, advice from planning department can easily be sought.
